Packaging & shipping

Design the packing and shipment around the actual product list.

Panel dimensions, surface sensitivity, carton strength, pallet rules and mixed-order timing all affect loading and damage risk. We coordinate the plan before shipment.

Procurement workflow

What happens, what gets recorded, and who approves it

01
Protection

Select packaging for the product and route

The required protection depends on profile shape, finish, panel length, handling method and shipment mode.

  • Surface film, corner and edge protection
  • Carton, bundle, pallet or crate review
  • Moisture and handling considerations
  • Pack quantity and gross-weight confirmation
02
Identification

Approve marks before the goods are packed

Labels should let the buyer identify product, color, quantity and destination without exposing confidential supplier information.

  • SKU, color and batch identification
  • Buyer logo, barcode and language review
  • Carton number and shipping marks
  • Artwork revision and print-position approval
03
Loading

Plan FCL, LCL or mixed-order consolidation

Container estimates require confirmed packed dimensions and weights, not only nominal panel dimensions.

  • Supplier completion-date alignment
  • Load compatibility and stacking risk
  • Container or LCL handover planning
  • Loading photos or records where agreed
04
Documents

Confirm responsibilities before booking

Incoterm, port, document issuer and destination requirements are recorded for the shipment.

  • Commercial invoice and packing list scope
  • Bill of lading instructions
  • Origin or test documents when applicable
  • Forwarder contact and shipment handover point

Information that helps us give a useful answer

A product link alone rarely defines construction, finish, packing and destination requirements. Include the following where available.

  1. 1

Full product list with packed quantity by SKU

  2. 2

Destination port or delivery point and target date

  3. 3

Pallet, carton, label and barcode requirements

  4. 4

Nominated forwarder and requested Incoterm, if any

  5. 5

    Destination documents and import restrictions

Buyer questions

Frequently asked questions

Can several product categories share one container?

Possibly. Supplier timing, packed dimensions, weight, stacking compatibility and handling risk must be reviewed for the exact order.

How many panels fit in a container?

A useful estimate needs the confirmed panel and package dimensions, units per pack, gross weight, pallet method and container type.

Are FOB, CIF and EXW always available?

Trade terms are order-specific. The quotation should identify the Incoterm version, named place or port and included responsibilities.

What should we record if goods arrive damaged?

Retain packaging, take photos before and during unloading, identify carton and product codes, note quantities and follow the carrier or contract notification deadline.
